Beyond Money: The Purpose of the Creative Blog

You see the signs on this journey telling you “Blogging Cash” and “Make Money Online” are the true routs to blogging success. Yes, you can make blogging cash and earn a steady income, a high income as a blogger. However, shouldn’t this be enjoyable too? Shouldn’t the journey of a blogger become more paramount than success? True, you still need to earn a living. But in the end, this will be about creativity. It started out as creativity and it will end as creativity.

Just When Does a Blog Fail?
You see the signs on the journey, telling you everyone is getting a blog and there is no point to it. Or maybe it’s the opposite: you want to join the crowd. Will the blog fail or succeed? How can you define when a blog fails? You know when you stop seeing it as an outlet for your creativity. You also know when readers stop coming back. However, if you take part in creative blogging, you will be expressing yourself every day you write.

Expressing Yourself:
Expressing yourself, your goals and aspirations, is what the blog is truly about. You can do whatever you want with a blog. Creative blogging is about just that: exploring what is in your mind at that moment. Creative blogging means not always going for the high keyword density posts. Often, you will see more success when you forget keywords and blogging success. Readers will see you’re excited; they will come back.

Exploring Mindsets:
The mindset is that you have to succeed-or earn money at-every single thing you spend time on. Yes, you can earn plenty of blogging cash. But that is down the road, not here in front of you. The mindset needs to be a positive one: I want ten readers in my second week; I want to post on my struggles with depression. Creative blogging means allowing your mindset to change often.

Seeing the Income:
There is a point where blogging cash will come into your mind. It may take some trials to get there, sure, but often it will be worth it. I propose you think beyond money in the beginning, middle, and end. Think of money when you “work” not when you create. Creative blogging means seeing the income as a reward, not always a goal.
